i want to go vegan but when i told that to one of my friends she started making fun of me and laughing because the only reasons i could think of were that it'd make me lose weight, have a clear skin, and teach me self control.
what other benefits does it have?
i used to be chubby girl (68kg 5'5") but i have lost 11 kg since last year. my body type is athletic and i want to become lean. (have more muscles than fat)
should i go vegan? i don't know how to explain that to people. i'd need to explain that to my family too (who are pure non-veg!)
i won't be able to have protein shakes or milk or eggs, i am worried if a vegan diet would provide me with all the nutrients required to gain muscles and lose fat. i know that many personal trainers/athletes are vegan but i don't understand how they get all their nutrients
